Y5/Y6 Take Part in Newent Family Cross-Country ~ 18 October 2007

All Tibberton children fromY5 & Y6 took part in the Newent family cross country on October 18th.

After being superbly warmed up by ex pupil Emma Williams the children set off on the 1200m course, girls first, then boys.

Tibberton had four girls in the top 20 out of 74 runners: Jocelyn Saxelby, Izzy Hurley, Annie Davies and Amy Wallace. The top boy from Tibberton was Jacob Hatcher who came 7th out of 96.

 Mr Brown praised the imense effort put in by all the children. Tibberton are now planning the cluster cross country event in the spring.
